Yes Vidhya, I have tried 3rd person as well and it works greatly for me. Let me know if this works out for you. Any other strategy works for you in getting out of difficult emotions faster? I am trying out a tool where I speak out my negative feelings / emotions in 3rd person, in exact same way the thoughts are talking to me and then give a different identity to the voice - like who the voice sounds like. I have been meaning to write about it for a long time!
