Justin, I use Uber everyday to go to my office and I will tell you this – it’s not just about availability and cost. I would rather wait for Uber car than install competitors app (Ola-India). Uber gives a quality of ride that I don’t care about any other option. Yes Uber’s core is driver hiring, grooming and retention but you are missing the point – Uber’s customer service is the best I have see across any product line. Their customer service have altered my perception about their dependability a lot of times. You would know that perception is everything. People I know perceive Uber to be more dependable and of more quality. Uber makes more money from daily users like me. And why will I try something new especially when I am worried about reaching office at time? And what about the market which wants driver cars than driverless?
